Day 1 :  Arrive Bangalore – on way Coorg

Welcome to ‘Coorg – an unforgettable holiday destination. Upon arrival in Bangalore Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Coorg. It has mesmerizing mountain ranges all over with luscious greenery and the tranquil waters of the Cauvery River flowing through the hilly area. Also referred to as the Scotland of India, it is known for its beautiful coffee, tea , and cardamom plantations.Overnight in Coorg. (L, D)

Day 2 : Coorg

Enjoy a day exploring this pretty coffee town. Today after breakfast you will visit Lord Shiva Omkareshwar Temple – built by Linga Rajendra II in 1820. With central dome and four turrets at the corners, this temple reflects the Muhammadan style of architecture; The Medikery Fort – The brick and mortar Palace was built in 1814 by Lingarajendra Wodeyar II. The palace features a stone formation of a tortoise, which has initials of King Vijayarajendra engraved on it.Also visit Abbey Falls where you will witness gushing and roaring beauty of the water cascading over rocks into calm pools ,and Raja’s seat which is a small pavilion with a garden surrounding it, offering a view of the green valley below.The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.
